Six development projects approved 

Schemes approved at an estimated cost of Rs14.1 billion

LAHORE: The Punjab Development Working Party (PDWP) approved six development schemes of various sectors at an estimated cost of Rs14.1 billion. The schemes were approved at the sixth meeting of the party on Thursday during the current fiscal year. The meeting was presided over by Planning and Development Chairman Habibur Rehman Gilani. The approved development schemes included the Punjab non-formal education project (revised) at a cost of Rs8.48 billion, the taleem sab kay liay (revised) at a cost of Rs628 million as well as the establishment of 12 permanent weigh stations and 36 mobile weigh stations at a cost of Rs766.39 million.
