KARACHI: The government intends to start a ferry service to neighbouring countries to improve cultural and bilaterial ties, said Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon while talking to a group of visiting journalists from Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The country’s generation next will have a better chance of living a secure and terrorism-free life if we join hands with our neighbours and friends, he said. Memon described the law and order situation in Karachi as “improved”. The Sindh Police has arrested more than 200 terrorists in the city. “It will take time and a lot of effort to continue to improve the security situation,” he said.
