If little rainfall can paralyse the city, what will the citizens do during the event of a storm?
KARACHI: Rain is considered as one of nature’s blessings. However, the people of Karachi cannot afford such a blessing. The citizens here face many problems¬, including that of electricity outage, sewage, garbage, traffic and infrastructure damage.
When will the Sindh government take measures to prevent such inconveniences to the people? Do they consider the people of Karachi children of a lesser god, even after contributing more than 2/3 of the revenue? The failure of the government to act for the people of Karachi is the failure of the whole nation.
If little rainfall can paralyse the city, what will the citizens do during the event of a storm? I pray that no such incident affects Karachi in the near future. I also urge the government to take safety measures as these rains are also the cause of countless deaths.
