This week, we’ve seen some of our own lovely stars rocking some serious trends on Instagram. If you want to shake up your style, look no further than Maya Ali, Amna Ilyas and Hareem Farooq. Then, there are the funky saris worn by Mahira Khan and Ayesha Omar.
So, with all these fashion-statements to get through, let’s dive right in shall we?
Sari not sorry!
Talk about looking like a desi warrior princess! We love how Ayesha flaunted this Zari Faisal sari along with quirky earrings and upper arm bracelets. We don’t think we’ve seen anything like it as of late and the ensemble certainly made a statement. Yes, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but what is fashion without a little risk?
We don’t particularly love this Fred Flintstone-style outfit of Mahira’s but we have to admire her willingness to try something a bit different. The Superstar actor modelled this leopard print sari well, keeping hair and accessories simple. After all, simplicity is what Mahira is all about.
Maya Ali makes the cut
The star has been busy promoting Parey Hut Love and we have to say, she’s certainly putting her best fashion foot forward as of late. We love Maya’s recent snaps in these flared pants and a tangerine top. The cut is super flattering and we are obsessing over the colour combination.
Speaking of flattering cuts, Maya just keeps hitting the nail on the head. She also stepped out in this stylish blush midi dress which highlighted her slender figure in all the right ways. We love how the actor left her hair in loose waves and styled the ensemble with black strappy heels.
Deepika Padukone – Rad in retro
Yes we know, Deepika again. But how can we not? The Bollywood it-girl slayed our feeds in light pink matching separates showing us all how to rock the casual-cool look. The Alberta Ferretti ensemble gives us some serious 80’s vibes, with the oversized cropped jacket as the highlight. Also, can we talk about those earrings? Great pick for the cut.
Jump the jumpsuit bandwagon
Oh, hello! Amna Ilyas reminded us how jumpsuits are still in and can look super fresh. The Baaji star honed into the waist belt trend with a blue stone pick, which complimented the outfit perfectly. With hoop earrings and matching heels to go, we think this was a great look for a daytime event.
Hareem Farooq’s warm sunset look
All we can say is, wow! Hareem sure understands which makeup tones work best for her. This one won hearts on Instagram, bringing something just a little bit different to the table. The actor-producer’s warm sunset glam is a perfect look for summer and really compliments white, as we can see in this picture. Flushed cheeks and transitional eyeshadow stands out in all the ways we adore.
