Mahira Khan takes subtle dig at haters in Insta post

Actor was recently criticised because of her 'age' and how she should only consider roles of a mother

Mahira Khan is a global star. We all know that. She has represented Pakistan on several international platforms. We know that too.

However, she's still criticised and asked not to play the lead because 'she has aged.'

Social media was set ablaze after veteran actor Firdous Jamal made controversial remarks about the actor. Jamal recently appeared on Faisal Qureshi’s morning show where he suggested the Superstar actor should no longer play lead roles, but that of a mother.

Many slammed Jamal's comments and came out in support of the actor.

Mahira, however, took a very subtle dig at the haters.

In a recent Instagram post, the Verna actor donning a gorgeous red ensemble, wrote, "Desi me rollin’ they hatin’."

Ali Kazmi, Kubra Khan too commented on the post.

"Hahahahah! I live for puns!," Kubra wrote. "And let’s them hate. Sanu ki? AC te too cool for them."

"Go big or go home! And you ain’t never going home champion," said Ali.
