Out of those that were injured, 543 people sustained critical injuries and were shifted to different hospitals. Whereas, 373 victims who sustained minor injuries were treated at the site by rescue medical teams.
A majority of the incidents, at least 46%, involved motorcycles. The data also shows that 373 drivers, 15 underage drivers, 106 pedestrians and 447 passengers were among the victims of these traffic crashes. The statistics show that 198 crashes were reported in Lahore which affected 194 persons placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 92 in Faisalabad with 105 victims and Multan with 56 crashes and 63 victims. The details show that 926 victims were affected by traffic crashes including 722 males and 204 females.
