GUJRANWALA: A resident of Farid town Razia beat up a man named Faisal with her shoes when he tried to harass her, Express News reported on Monday.

Razia was being accompanied by her husband Muhammad Boota and daughter Khadija when this incident happened. A crowd gathered at the scene to see what was happening, and one man started beating up Faisal as well.

Faisal pleaded to Razia and the crowd, saying he had ‘committed a mistake’ and requested them to let him go and not to hand him over to the police claiming that his mother was admitted in the hospital. The crowd dispersed after Razia forgave him upon the people’s request.

Correction: July 4

An earlier version of this article had mistakenly included the name Nasir for Faisal. The error has been corrected.
