Officials receive training on rights of special persons

KARACHI: The ministry of human rights and the provincial department of empowerment of persons with disabilities along with a global social organisation, 'Handicap International' organised a workshop for the training of officers of relevant departments.

Experts such as Shahzad Ahmed Khan, Human Rights Ministry (HRM) Islamabad Director Iqbal Pasha Shaikh, Karachi Regional Director Zulfiqar Ali Jhumat and Abubakar Sufi of the provincial department, among others, imparted training to officers on the rights of special persons and other guidelines in line with international agreements.
