LAHORE:

Jamiat Ulema Islam (Samiul Haq) will hold a rally opposite the Lahore Press Club on Monday in protest against the United States Embassy “for its promotion of homosexuality”.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the JUI (S) condemned the gay pride ceremony held at the embassy on June 26.

It also asked the government to take action against the US embassy.

Tashika | 12 years ago | Reply Whenever the natural order of polarities is disturbed, disharmony follows... yin, yang; negative positive; etc. There is some wisdom in the condemnation of homosexuality by religions.

Beyond sad | 12 years ago | Reply It's completely ridiculous how those that are 'anti-gay' have no other argument than 'Because Allah said so'. So all you anti-gay people - do you do everything Allah has said? Do you follow the Quran EXACTLY as you're supposed to? I think all you hypocrites will be the ones standing in front of God, being admonished for comparing yourself to Him, by JUDGING others - which is NOT YOUR JOB. As is said over and over in the Quran, HE will be the judge. Not you. You concentrate on what you're doing with your life, and let others live how they want to. When judgement day comes, God will decide who is going to wherel. If a man/woman is a homosexual, but has done everything else in their lives to be a good Muslim, and YOU, people who have judged, and spread hate will be stood before Allah, I wonder who he'll pick to go to heaven and who will go to hell. All I can say is... good luck ;)

Some acts must be reacted right at the place where the act happens e.g. When you buy something from a shop, you are handed over the product you paid for. Similarly gayism is an act of evil-hood that must be responded rapidly with brutal force and complete disgrace towards to actors. The same ALLAH (who you claim has made gay a gay) ask his believers to eliminate/annihilate/terminate Gays from his land. And this will be done without any hesitation ...

saad | 12 years ago | Reply what and who prompted sam to do this? isnt he aware of the extremism here? if he was concerend about such rights then sam should av taken an initiative in india like 2 years back where gays etc were screaming to be heard, or back home in the land of the free where gay bashing is a sport! and all those who were out on the streets howcome never protested against ali saleem? didnt he/she shocked their senses? an out and out gay covered as a cross dresser philosophising (to get away and appear normal) how and when he feels like a man and when as a woman. would he/she been accepted sans saaree etc as a talk show host? according to him in a bbc interview he got complimented by the mullah kind and felt comfy in peshawar not forgetting being invited to ghq for tea!!! and can anyone investigate what goes on in madrassahs? is that some kind of brotherly love? when some incidents took place in an all boys school in peshawar (during musharaf's moderate pakistan), and were reported then ejaz ul haq (religious min) stated that such goings on should not be exposed!!! i dont remember any protests in nwfp then or any mullah or religious party condemning it. just like they never say anything against suicide bombing.

sohaib | 12 years ago | Reply US embassy has no right to promote gay rights in Pakistan. Have all the US states allowed gay rights? Its still illegal to have gay relationship in most of US States. So who are they to promote these things and especially in muslim countries. Islam strictly prohibits same sex relationship. its not mullah doctrine but the doctrine of our religion.

Every human being needs strict condemnation as SEX must be prohibited for everyone even after marriage. Ask these questions: Why Allah created SEX? Why did he stated it HARAM before marriage and HALAL after marriage? He had many options to promote the human progeny, why He selected SEX as a source of reproduction for human beings? Why did he set SEXUAL INSTINCTS in human being so that they become barbarians in quelling their desires and start raping innocents...Actually, faults lie above the sky, in the Creator. He created this whole mess.... Why do people confuse gayism with sexual freakness. If a man feels something special for another man and wants to live with him, its milder form of GAYISM... How GAYS can torn the fabric of MUSLIM SOCIETY where every other person is danger to the integrity and peace of the whole social circle because of their intolerance, injustice, corruption, violence and extremism... ask ALLAH who created you. Don't fight with people... Why he created wrong more appealing and right more difficult and tedious. Every human being is not of equal spiritual capabilities... So, he has non-linear system of justice. Only people on Earth, custodians of religion, shorten this world for other human beings. Same is the case with religion. Allah has given humans brains and the sources to figure whats right and wrong (Quran) The rest is up to humans they can do whatever the hell they want. Being homosexual is strictly prohibited in Islam so that's someone one CAN do BUT will be punished for it. **
