The country’s top narcotics watchdog launched an interrogation after arresting Tayab Ayub, son of Fauzia Ayub, and his partner Adil Aslam.

Separately, 24 kilos of hashish were recovered from the hens carrying vehicle and ANF arrested two suspects, one identified as Ramzan. According to sources, more arrests are expected after getting information from the suspects. Earlier this month, the ANF arrested PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah for “possessing a large quantity of drugs in his vehicle”, a spokesperson said. Rana, who served as the Punjab law minister during the previous PML-N government, was arrested by ANF Lahore from the Islamabad-Lahore motorway near Sukheki, while he was travelling from Faisalabad to Lahore.
