Terror attacks

The security forces cleared the place after a 12-hour-long operation

BALGHATER, BALOCHISTAN: Almost every day, a terrorist attack takes place across the world. The terror group, Al Shabaab, attacked a hotel in Kismayo, Somalia. At least 26 people had been killed and 56 injured. The victims included American, Canadian, Kenyan and Chinese nationals as well as a number of prominent Somali politicians and tribal elders. The hotel was a popular spot for politicians, foreigners and lawmakers. The security forces cleared the place after a 12-hour-long operation. This is also the same terrorist group which had carried out a truck bomb attack in Mogadishu in 2017 that killed more than 500 people. When we see the acts of terrorism carried out across the world, it seems that human life means nothing for the terrorists. Terrorism has also created differences among people on the basis of faith or ethnicity. We will be able to defeat this menace only through a united international action. The menace is threatening the entire humanity. We should shun differences and become one against terrorism.
