Drug addicts sit by the boundary of the park in the evening, making it difficult for the womenfolk to freely walk
SUKKUR: Muhammad Bin Qasim Park in Sukkur has been in a pathetic condition for long. Gardeners are not regular and plants are not pruned regularly. As a result, the park has an unpleasant and unkempt look. Since the municipality is not paying attention to the maintenance of the park, gamblers have turned the place into a gambling haven. Drug addicts sit by the boundary of the park in the evening, making it difficult for the womenfolk to freely walk in the evening. Our repeated complaints to the local authorities have failed to bring any change in the situation. The Deputy Commissioner and the Senior Superintendent of Sukkur city are requested to improve the condition of the park for the convenience of the area residents.
