Shaan Shahid thinks all the major Eid releases should not come out together

He tweeted, "Not good for the industry to release all the films on Eid."

Shaan Shahid has never been one to shy away from expressing his views, no matter how uncalled for they might be. If anything, the Khuda Kay Liye star can be bordering on being rude at times.

After attacking the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) on his decision to dub the Hindi version of The Lion King, Shaan is back with yet another opinion and it involves all the upcoming Eid releases of the year.

Actor Faisal Qureshi shared a tweet in which he mentioned all the biggest film productions of 2019 that are due to release on Eidul Adha.

The tweet read, "Maza aye ga iss eid pe #muqablasakht #aikseybarhkaraik #films #HeerMaanJa #Superstar #PareyHutLove."

In reply to Faisal's tweet, Shaan said, "Not good for the industry to release all the films on the same day. The industry needs more films not Eid releases. These are the best films coming out this year and all spent in one day."

The Waar actor went on to say, "Good films create viewership and all these films are good as gold. They should separately release them."

Faisal retweeted Shaan's reply and said, "Agreed but now this is happening. For next year, we all should do some decisions. Ab tou support karna hey na [We have to support them now]."

In a different tweet, Shaan also requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to separate the culture ministry from the information ministry.

"Dear PM, please separate culture from the information ministry as info ministry is doing a good job but culture is suffering," he said. "So, is the country’s entertainment industry. Food, a few films, TV and shopping is the only entertainment Pakistanis are left with," he said.
