Trump thinks 'kidney has a special place in the heart' and Twitter's having a ball

No, we're not kidding. This really happened.

US President Trump apparently has not idea about kidneys or doesn't really know what they are.

On Wednesday, Trump signed an executive order that aims to incentivise in-home dialysis, encourage kidney donations, and prevent kidney decline in the first place.

But while unveiling the policy in a speech, Trump said something odd about the vital organ's anatomical whereabouts.

"You've worked so hard on the kidney," Trump said. He then added that "Very exceptionally. The kidney has a special place in my heart. It is an incredible thing," which is most certainly not where it's located.

And Twitter can't get over his statement.

As a former surgeon, the only time I've seen the kidney having a "special place in the heart" was after a fall from a 6-story building.
