Recycling waste

The government of Pakistan has to invest in recycling waste products

KECH, BALOCHISTAN: An estimate shows that Pakistan produces 30 million tons of solid waste every year — nine per cent of which is only plastic. Around 300 tons of scrap rubber — including tyres — is produced per month, as well. But unfortunately, all this trash, despite being recycled, is being disposed on the earth only. When this trash is disposed in landfills, it continues to harm the environment as the waste is not bio-degradable and keeps producing toxic gases.

The government of Pakistan has to invest in recycling these waste products in order to protect the environment and our natural resources for the future generations.
