Congrats New Zealand!

Letter July 12, 2019
Congratulations to the New Zealand team and best of luck for the final

TURBAT: Well done Kiwis for winning against India with 18 runs, and reaching the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The Skipper, Kane Wiliamson, must be specially appreciated for his extraordinary performance against the over-confident Indian team. The bowling line of the team did not give any time or chance to Indian batsmen to stick around at the crease for long. One expected the Indian batting line-up to be invincible. However, once the third wicket fell, the fourth and fifth followed quickly. M S Dhoni is considered to be the ‘finisher’ of the Indian team, as he usually swoops in towards the end to lead his team to victory. However, he failed to do so against England as well New Zealand. There are rumours of Dhoni retiring after the World Cup, and the chances of this have increased after Wednesday’s match. Nonetheless, congratulations to the New Zealand team and best of luck for the final.
