Waste management projects: Malaysian firm keen to invest in Sialkot

SIALKOT:


A leading Malaysian multinational company Pollution Engineering Malaysia has shown keen interest to invest in Pakistan’s waste management cleaning projects in Sialkot.


The project will help tanneries, sports and surgical industries combat with the massive problem of environmental pollution, according to a detailed presentation by company officials on Friday.

Pollution Engineering Malaysia Managing Director Toney Liew Yuan Chin also showed keen interest in establishing well-equipped water treatment plants in Sialkot industries through the Ministry of Environment Protection of Pakistan.

The Malaysian firm head said this while addressing the Sialkot business community at the Cleaner Production Centre.

On this occasion, heads of all Sialkot trade bodies lauded the Malaysian company’s plan and welcomed the investment plan.
