‘Centre destroyed agriculture sector’
Murtaza Wahab federal government has destroyed the country’s agriculture sector
KARACHI:
While reacting to the joint press conference of Jehangir Tareen and federal agriculture minister, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the adviser to Sindh chief minister on information, law and anti-corruption, questioned how Tareen, who has been disqualified by the Supreme Court from giving advice to the federal government, used government machinery and resources to hold a press conference. Wahab said that the federal government has destroyed the country’s agriculture sector by raising the prices of fertilisers, which will increase problems for the people. He said that the collection of tax revenue is decreasing with each passing day and the federal government is far from reaching its tax collection target. He added that the federal government should immediately pay the dues of the Sindh government.
