NADRA kiosk representatives flee with bill payment money

SARGODHA: Representatives of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) kiosk fled away with utility bills payment money amounting to millions of rupees, Express News reported Friday.

Residents of Block 6 reported the anomaly as officials from the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) and Sui gas started to disconnect meters from the houses of defaulters.

The franchise owner, Muhamad Khalil said that the alleged representatives made fake stamps of the Nadra kiosk and escaped with the money.

Khalil said that the process of reimbursing people's money has been initiated.
