Bollywood stars Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan are at it again on Twitter, cementing to everyone that their two-year ongoing spat is far from over.

This time, the fight revolved around the pair's newly-released blockbusters, which were going to be released on the same date, reported Hindustan Times.

Hrithik’s Super 30 was to release on July 26 but earlier this week it was announced Kangana’s Mental Hai Kya would also hit theatres on the same date, reportedly due to ‘business reasons.’  This date was spontaneously decided instead of its scheduled June 21 release, sending social media into a frenzy over the obvious clash.

Krissh star Hrithik then tweeted that his film’s release would be rescheduled.

But hours later, Kangana issued a statement: “Hrithik Roshan, Madhu Mantena and Ekta Kapoor had collectively decided that Hrithik would push Super 30’s release date and Ekta will bring her film MHK on 26th July, they had taken this call last week itself, I don’t know why he wrote this sob story but I am glad that MHK getting a solo release.”

Hrithik’s tweet had said, “So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film Super 30 in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause. Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible.”

However, on May 7, MHK producer Ekta Kapoor announced the film will hit theatres on July 26. Ekta, on her part, explained the decision was “taken after recommendations from distributors, trade analysts and a top research team”. She even tweeted, “My decision my film.....so all brickbats directed to me pls! I’m my own person!!!”

Soon, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel attacked Hrithik with a barrage of tweets. “Balaji kya Kangana Ranaut ka production house hai jo woh jab chahe film release kare... lekin pappu toh pappu hota hai... common sense hai he nahin.... ab tu dekh beta, tera kya haal hoga @iHrithik,” read one such tweet.

It was followed by Hrithik’s statement declaring that Super 30’s release was being postponed. Reportedly, the film might now release on August 9.

“There is no release date yet for Super 30. I’m told by Reliance Entertainment that they have not decided on any date as of now,” says trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Trade analyst Atul Mohan too reportedly claims the film releasing on August 9 were untrue. “The film will definitely release this year, but August 9 is just a rumour. There are three big films releasing on August 15 as of now — Batla House, Mission Mangal and Saaho. So when you have such big releases in the following week, there will be no breathing space for Super 30 and box office results might not be satisfactory. I feel it won’t be a good business decision, but then it’s up to the makers. They are likely to take a call in a few days is what I am told,” he adds.
