Robbery: Expat deprived of cash, valuables

The robbers took away 500 grams gold, Rs500,000 cash, five laptops and five computers with monitors.

ABBOTTABAD: Robbers deprived a man of cash and jewellery in Sherwan area on Thursday. Firdous Khan, a resident of Sariala village, told the police that five masked men entered into his house while he along with his family members were asleep and held them at gun point. The robbers tied them with the bed and took away 500 grams gold, Rs500,000 cash, five laptops and five computers with monitors. The bandits remained in the house for over one and a half hour. The victim had recently returned to the country after serving in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The police registered a case and investigations are underway.
