ISLAMABAD: Services for passengers at Commercially Important Person (CIP) Lounge in Islamabad International Airport just got expensive by Rs800 as dollar climbed to fresh high.

People coming to CIP Lounge were surprised to know that charges have been increased without any notice.

The service provider had made the agreement in dollar terms, so with the hike in dollar price, the charges went up too, said spokesman of Civil Aviation Authority an official at IIA.

The company providing refreshment and other services at CIP Lounge charges $15 per head, with the increase in dollar rates, the charges have also increased, the spokesman explained.

The service providing firm is a public-private partnership, he said.
