Cable Theft: Four caught, handed over to police

on charges of stealing power cable worth Rs100,000.

KHANEWAL: Motorway police on Thursday gave four men into the custody of police officials concerned on charges of stealing power cable worth Rs100,000. According to motorway police sources, SPO Motorway Ghulam Mohammad and his team held Allah Ditta, Mohammad Zafar, Haji Manzoor and Zafar after they failed to provide a satisfactory response to questions about the stack of cables found in their car. Motorway Police said the four had failed to give any details of where and how they got the cable from. They said the police were questioning them.
