Corruption Inc.

LAHORE: Pakistan is a victim of several kinds of terrorism. Financial terrorism exists because of the corruption, pilferages, and abuses of powers by state officials. By neglecting to screen materials properly, our corrupt bureaucracy and law enforcement agencies enable terrorists to transport weapons such as guns, bombs and detonation material. If corruption was not institutionalised by the bureaucracy, military dictators and politicians, more funds would be available for the social sector’s development and people would not be manipulated by those exploiting religion for political gains.
