Water shortage

Letter June 27, 2019
I urge the government to provide residents with clean drinking water and healthcare facilities

DASHT, BALOCHISTAN: Dasht is a small village located between the port city of Gwadar and Turbat. It is facing a severe water shortage. Women travel long distances in search of drinking water and pay extra for it, only to receive unclean water. Many have left Dasht due to water shortage. Those left in the village are somehow or other surviving. I urge the government to provide residents with clean drinking water and healthcare facilities. Living beings cannot survive without water.
