MULTAN: The Social Welfare Centre, Neghaban, on Thursday found five homeless children and took them to the centre. Tassawar Hussain, in charge of Negheban Centre, said that the children were found in various areas of the city. He said the children had left their homes because their parents beat them and were reluctant to go back. They were identified as Abbas, 14, Muddasar, 15, Muhammad Shahid, 13, Mohammad Waqas,  16, and Shahid, 13.  The centre is searching for their addresses to ensure their return, he said. Hussain said that such children were returned to their parents after psychotherapy treatment so that they did not leave their homes again.
