PESHAWAR: The Bank of Khyber (BOK) and Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates (SHMA) signed an agreement on Thursday to implement Bank Essentials Core Banking System. The new system will be implemented for Islamic and conventional branches as well as in the treasury of the bank. It is estimated that the new system will greatly increase the bank’s operational capabilities in terms of regulatory reporting, risk management and most importantly, its ability to efficiently service its rapidly growing customer base.  It will also be a fully centralized system, with a full disaster recovery back up plan. The Core Banking System will also enable the bank to increase the range of its services to a growing number of customers throughout the country by introducing innovative schemes and many initiatives.
