Apple might reveal long-awaited 16-inch MacBook Pro in the upcoming iPhone event in September, says a report published by Forbes.

According to the report, which cites HIS Markit, the new laptop is set to have an LG manufactured 16-inch TFT LCD display having pixel ratio of 3072 x 1920 pixels. However, the OLED display variant was not mentioned.

Apple recalls some MacBook Pro units

As of now, Apple is selling a 13-inch and a 15-inch MacBook Pro with larger models having pixel ratio of 2880 x 1880 pixels.  Since the current version of support four USB-C ports, users are looking forward for more connectivity option in the 16-inch models.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro was first heard about by Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo in February, however, Kuo revised his prediction about the release of the new Apple laptop to the first half of 2021.

Apple is also expected to update its 13-inch MacBook Pro and Retina MacBook Air with new MacOS, Catalina, along with a new processor in September.
