KARACHI: A biometrics hand punch attendance system has been introduced at the Sir Syed University of Engineeringand Technology (SSUET). This was discussed and finalised at a meeting held on Thursday with Chancellor Z A Nizami. This system has been introduced to replace the manual card punch attendance system and will help the university monitor and access payroll processing and the arrival and departure of teachers and non-teaching staff. Three of these machines have been installed at the university and can enroll up to 9,000 users.
