In order to improve exports, the Engineering Development Board (EDB) has started working on a developmental and growth strategy for the cutlery sector with help from stakeholders.
The Cutlery Association will carry out product group-wise mapping of the sector covering main stream players, as well as the vending segment in order to facilitate the board in developing effective strategies for every component.
Business Support Fund will provide its product and services like franchise program to young entrepreneurs and smart energy programme for the sector.
