Traders announce protest on June 24 against taxes imposed by RCB

Meeting decided that different processions from different markets would meet at Unique Bakers Chowk

RAWALPINDI: The traders’ community of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) will march to the board’s office on June 24, to protest against heavy taxes.

Anjuman Tajiran Cantonment President Sheikh Hafeez held a meeting in which different traders unions from different markets participated and decided to stage protests against heavy taxes imposed by RCB.

The meeting decided that different processions from different markets would meet at Unique Bakers Chowk from where they would march towards RCB office and stage a protest.

Leaders of traders will give speeches at the protest march to elucidate the government that heavy taxes would lower business activities which would ultimately damage the country.
