In a statement on Monday, the adviser to the chief minister on information, law and anti-corruption, Murtaza Wahab, said that the alliance between GDA and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was to protect the petty interests of those who live only for power and wealth and have nothing to do with the interests of the common man.
He said that the political orphans sitting under the umbrella of the GDA were spent bullets. Wahab claimed that the people of Sindh had rejected them every time. He termed the GDA as the 'grand diversion alliance' which only shot arrows in the air and misled people with its statements.
According to the adviser, the performance of the Sindh chief minister was evident to everyone. Wahab said that 'The Economist' had acknowledged the performance of the CM. Firdous Shamim Naqvi, who tops the list of those involved in china cutting was criticising the CM just to save himself from humiliation.
Separately, in another statement issued on Monday, the adviser paid tribute to the police officials martyred in Orangi Town. He said the provincial government would offer financial assistance to the families of the martyred officers.
Such cowardly attacks cannot crush our courage, said Wahab, adding that anti-social elements did not like the restoration of law and order in the city and such elements would be punished.
