Australian High Commissioner Margaret Adamson is returning to her country after serving for four years in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Australian High Commissioner Margaret Adamson has said that she is returning to her country after serving for four years in Pakistan. Pakistan will soon see development in its economy. Pakistan faces several challenges but its people know how to cope with the challenges. I am thankful to the hospitality exhibited by the people of Pakistan. There is a need to promote trade relations between the two countries through which people and the governments of both the states can boost their contact. The high commissioner expressed the thoughts while presenting her address at a farewell ceremony held at her house in Islamabad. Senior Counselor Hilda Serak, Third Secretary Juan, Australian Embassy Media Director Bushra Naz and high officials from other departments also attended the event. Adamson said that the textile products made in Pakistan were unique in quality. We import textile goods from Pakistan. About 13,000 Pakistani students are studying in Australian educational institutions while over a 100 PhD students are also completing their doctoral degrees through educational grant projects.
