Capital Development Authority, Islamabad Capital Territory Administration demolish 33 homes

13 boundary walls constructed illegally on the state land also demolished

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) conducted joint anti-encroachment operation at Milpur and Murree Road and retrieved around 205 kanals of state land from the illegal occupants during last three days. CDA enforcement director and assistant commissioner supervised the operations.

During the first day of the operation, conducted by Enforcement Directorate in collaboration of ICTA 21 homes along with boundary walls, 55 rooms, 21 kitchens, 26 washrooms were demolished and 100 kanals state land retrieved.

On the second day 12 houses along with 35 rooms, 12 kitchens and 12 washrooms were bulldozed. Moreover, in the area of Milpur 13 big boundary walls constructed illegally on the state land were also demolished.

The enforcement teams ran a tractor on a field where people had grown crops over an area of 15 kanals. The food crop was destroyed and people forced to move out of the state land.

Similarly, Building Control Section (BCS) demolished 26 illegally constructed shops in sector E-11 on Wednesday.
