Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shehbaz, is expected to attend the budget session on Thursday.
The PML-N vice-president was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) earlier this week after his attorney withdrew his bail plea.
NAB granted 15-day physical remand of Hamza
Hamza has been under NAB investigation in cases involving Ramzan Sugar Mills, Saaf Paani project and assets beyond known means of income.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was given a 15-day remand of Hamza Shahbaz on June 12.
Since his arrest, PML-N leader including party president Shehbaz Sharif and other opposition parties were urging the provincial assembly speaker to issue his production orders.
Meanwhile, PML-N’s Khawaja Salman Rafique and his brother Khawaja Saad Rafique are also in Nab’s custody. Both the leaders are being probed for their alleged role in the Paragon Housing scam.
