Bharat stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif interacted with the veterans who witnessed the Partition of 1947 post the special screening that they organised for them at Mehboob Studios.

The actor took to social media to share a picture of him engaging with a few people who witnessed Partition and also coupled the post with a heartfelt message saluting them, reported Pinkvilla.

He wrote, “Special screening of #Bharat for the real families who experienced the events of 1947 and the partition. Honoured to meet all of them! Salute to the real #Bharat families.”

The newly-released Bharat revolves around Khan’s struggle to find his father and sister who get separated from the rest of his family during Partition. With Katrina Kaif as his leading lady in the film, the film managed to tug many of the right strings in audience’s hearts.

In fact, many have also added how this might be one of Kaif’s best performance so far. After seeing her pull off the role that she did in Zero, it looks like she has raised the bar after all and fans are enjoying her diverse roles on-screen.

On the work front, Khan will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah opposite Alia Bhatt, while Kaif is set for Sooryavanshi in 2020.
