Paediatric ward inaugurated at LGH

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid inaugurates the state-of-the-art Paediatric Unit II at General Hospital Lahore

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid inaugurated the state-of-the-art Paediatric Unit II at General Hospital Lahore (LGH) on Tuesday. In addition to inaugurating the 15-room ward, the minister also inspected other wards at the facility and inquired about the patients. Speaking to the media, the health minister highlighted that in order to facilitate patients and to provide them with better healthcare facilities, more than 150 beds had been added to the gynea ward, paediatric ward and the labour room. She said that Sahiwal District Headquarter Hospital is now affiliated with Children’s Hospital Lahore. She maintained that we all have to play our part in making the anti-polio campaign successful.
