Helicopters will not land on buildings, rather pickup victims and conduct evacuation operations from designated rooftops.
The buildings which have been asked to set up helipads include both government-owned and private high-rise structures. All the designated buildings will have an H mark painted on rooftops to help helicopter pilots easily identify landing site.

The provision of helipad will help in providing airlift facility in case of emergency.
District Officer Civil Defense, Talib Hussain, confirmed this and told The Express Tribune that checking of multi-storey buildings would be commenced after Eid.
He said that the helicopters would not land on the platform but they would rather hover above the H-mark painted atop roofs of tall building while rescuing people.
He added that the measure would add to precautions that must be taken for public safety.
