Federal cabinet to meet on June 3

Is likely to grant approval to formation of National Commission for Children

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened on June 3 a meeting of the federal cabinet to discuss a 12-point agenda. According to the copy of the agenda, the federal cabinet will grant approval to formation of the National Commission for Children.

It will also take a decision regarding cancellation of licence of Askari Airline and converting the visit visas of Chinese nationals into work visas. The federal cabinet will be briefed on work being done to make issuance of visa easy. The annual and review report of the 2018 elections will also be presented.

The cabinet will also review the cash management and single account policy. It will also grant approval to a policy against keeping of budget amount in accounts of different departments. According to the new policy, the budget amount will be kept by the department in a single treasury account.

The federal cabinet will grant approval to appointment Atiq Ahmed as the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education secretary on deputation. The Hajj policy and plan 2019 will be reviewed. The cabinet will also be briefed about the marketing strategy with regard to the government buildings.

The meeting will also approve appointment of an anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge in Islamabad. It will also appoint the chairmen and members of the insurance tribunals in Lahore and Multan.
