Lahore police arrest 25 suspects in 10 days

LAHORE: During the past 10 days, Lahore police managed to apprehend 25 dangerous suspects involved in serious crimes.

Reportedly, on the instructions of Punjab IG Arif Nawaz Khan, special teams from the investigation police are working day and night to arrest suspects. According to the report, Raiwind police arrested three suspects involved in murdering a man named Amjad over a land dispute. The suspects were identified as Shaukat, Nasir and Saleem Butt.

Meanwhile, Lower Mall police arrested several individuals involved in double murders. The accused were identified as Mohammad Ali, Shehbaz Gujar, Ghulam Murtaza, Irfan alias Kana, Malik Babar, Babar Hussain, and Raziya Sultana. The accused had opened fire on Zakriya Mehmood, killing him and his driver Qaiser Khalil.

Shadbagh police arrested Zawaid Ali, who shot and killed his friend Hamza during a robbery. Kahna police apprehended eight suspects involved in four separate murder cases.

Defense C police conducted raids and arrested Naeem, who was charged with killing his neighbour over a heated exchange. Officials also seized the murder weapon. Factory Area police arrested Munir and Shair Ali who shot and killed Malik Shehzad and his son-in-law Irshad.
