Road accident: Four FC men killed

the driver lost control due to a brake failure and the truck plunged into a ditch.

QUETTA: Four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel died when an official truck overturned due to a brake failure in the early hours of Tuesday. Five others were also injured in the accident that occurred near Loti crossing area of Bugti tribal territory.  According to a spokesperson of the FC, a truck carrying paramilitary troops was on its way from Pirkoh to Dera Bugti when the driver lost control due to a brake failure and the truck plunged into a ditch. Resultantly, three lance naiks and a sepoy died on the spot. Security personnel and rescue workers rushed to the spot soon after the accident and shifted the bodies and injured to PPL Hospital, Dera Bugti. The condition of the injured is stated to be out of danger.
