PESHAWAR: The provincial government has decided to extend free health services for all residents of the province in the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
This was disclosed by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan before departing for Saudi Arabia from the Noor Khan Airbase in Islamabad to perform Umra.
Following directions from Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that the provincial government has decided to provide free medical facilities to every citizen of K-P, irrespective of their political affiliation, through the Sehat Insaf card.
“We will provide interest-free loans to the youth of the settled and tribal districts and allocate a special chunk of the budget for this purpose,” Mahmood said while offering a peek into the provincial budget.
