Much like her Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington, actor Sophie Turner has ruled out the possibility of any spinoffs of the super hit HBO fantasy drama. Despite her character Sansa Stark being crowned the ‘Queen in the North’ in last month’s series finale, Turner has closed the book on her time in Westeros, reported E! Online.

"I think it's time to say goodbye to Sansa. I'm ready-ish, to say goodbye to her. I think my watch has ended. It's been 10 years of my life and the best 10 years of my life by far," Sophie said recently, while promoting her new X-Men film Dark Phoenix.

Game of Thrones ended with Sansa taking the North out of the Seven Kingdoms and becoming its ruler, once and for all. Meanwhile, Harington's Jon Snow went off to live with the Wildlings and Maisie Williams' Arya Stark set sail to explore what lies west of the fictional continent of Westeros. Isaac Hempstead-Wright's Bran Stark became king.

"I feel like if I played her again, it would be just be more trauma," Sophie added, noting that she has closed the Game of Thrones chapter of her life on a happy note.

Over the years, especially in the last season, the Game of Thrones cast and crew went to great lengths to keep the show a secret. They used fake names for cast members, blocked cameras and sent scripts in a special way.

Sophie said this was one of the reasons she does not want to continue with a spinoff. “It’s nice not to have to keep secrets. But now I miss it. As soon as it finished, I'm like, ‘I wish I was still keeping those secrets. I wish I had snipers at my head — HBO snipers.”

Sophie and Maisie had previously joked that they'd be on board for a spinoff about the Stark sisters. "Oh, I would sign up for that!" the latter had said, with the Sophie adding, "I would sign up for that. I wouldn't sign up for any other spinoff…I wouldn't sign up for any other spinoff unless Maisie was in it.” To this, Maisie said, "Nice, me neither," and the X-Men beauty concluded, “And no one else.”

#DAY11: Game of Innocents: This photo of Game of Thrones stars Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) takes us back to the days when they looked so fresh faced and innocent. Even though they are now in dangerous parts of George R R Martin’s imaginary world, this throwback picture uploaded by Maisie on her Facebook page makes us love this happy version of them even more. But HBO’s Casey Bloys has also clarified there won't be any spinoffs with any of the main characters. "Nope, nope, nope. No," he told The Hollywood Reporter, when asked about the same. "Part of it is, I do want this show — this Game of Thrones [DB Weiss and David Benioff's show] — to be its own thing. I don't want to take characters from this world that they did beautifully and put them off into another world with someone else creating it. I want to let it be the artistic piece they've got. That's one of the reasons why I'm not trying to do the same show over.”

Casey added that Game of Thrones author George RR Martin has a “massive, massive world with so many ways in.” He explained, “That's why we're trying to do things that feel distinct and to not try and redo the same show. That's probably one of the reasons why, right now, a sequel or picking up any of the other characters doesn't make sense for us."

So, not all is lost for diehard fans of the show. A Game of Thrones prequel is in the works at HBO, with The Rings star Naomi Watts set to work in it.
