Unpaid dues: Colony residents owe HESCO Rs3m
Out of the 350 residential quarters in the colony, only 70 have legal connections.

The residents of Telegraph Workshop, Kotri Colony owe the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) Rs3.4 million in electricity bills. In order to settle the problem, MNA Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur presided over an open session in Kotri to resolve the row. Out of the 350 residential quarters in the colony, only 70 have legal connections. Talpur laid emphasis on the payment of bills and said that the best way to pull the Water and Power Development Authority out of its crisis was to pay bills quickly. Some influential members of the colony were willing to have electricity meters installed and explained that PTCL is not issuing them NoCs.
