Students urged to sharpen their skills in Faisalabad

VC UAF addresses the executive committee of Laboratory High School and College System

Students need to sharpen their skills by adopting modern tools of learning, said University of Agriculture Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ashraf.

Addressing the meeting of executive committee of UAF run Laboratory High School and College System, he said that modern teaching methods and digital techniques will be ensured in the UAF-run Laboratory School.

He said that every year, the students from the Laboratory School were gaining top positions in the board examinations which is an honour for the university.

The vice chancellor called for adopting modern trends in the education system in order to compete with the rest of the world. He said that to strengthen financial system of the school, besides external audit, the alumni association will be made more vibrant.

He said that the county was achieved after great sacrifices. Now, it is our duty to work with dedication, honesty and devotion that will open up new avenues of progress and prosperity.

Dr Ashraf said that the skilled manpower will end poverty and move the country towards uplift. “We have to inculcate the Islamic values in our youth for a better future.”
