Gul Nazar, the late brother of Afzal Kohistan, was booked on Sunday for being allegedly involved in the murder of a relative in the name of 'honour'.

A first information report (FIR) was filed against the incident that took place in Battagram's Allai tehsil in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) province.

Kohistan video scandal whistleblower killed

Afzal in 2012 had blown the whistle that the two boys dancing and five girls seen singing and clapping in the grainy cell phone video had been killed on the directives of a local jirga. The news has shocked the nation and had even prompted the Supreme Court to take suo motu notice. A year later, his three bothers were allegedly killed by the families of the five girls.
