Attabad lake: Victims to be compensated soon

Government expressed its firm commitment to resolve issues faced by the victims of the Attabad Lake tragedy.

ASTORE: Deputy Speaker Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) Legislative Assembly Jameel Ahmed expressed his firm commitment to resolve issues faced by the victims of the Attabad Lake tragedy. Talking to the news agency, he urged the people who have been displaced due to the emergence of the lake to understand the problems of the government, adding that negotiations, not strikes, are the best method of resolving any problem. The victims will be compensated as soon as possible, he said.
