Gastro wards set up in major hospitals in Punjab
To deal with any emergency situation during the monsoon season

Gastrology wards are being established in all major hospitals to deal with any emergency situation during the monsoon and rainy season, stated an official from the health department on Wednesday.
The official revealed that the government has planned to establish gastrology wards at each teaching hospital in the province.
In this connection, a gastrology ward has been established in General Hospital Ghulam Abad where sufficient medicines have been provided in addition to deputing necessary staff.
He said that steps were also being taken to establish gastrology wards in Allied Hospital, District Headquarter Hospital, Government General Hospital Samanabad and General Hospital Haseeb Shaheed Colony in addition to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital before the monsoon and rainy season.
