Joint ventures: Korean firms to collaborate with Sindh

Korea understands water supply and sanitation, and is also willing to contribute its expertise in these fields.

KARACHI: Korean companies KOSPO and Hyundai have expressed their willingness to form joint ventures with the Sindh government in the power sector, according to Korean Ambassador Choongjo Choi. While meeting Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah at CM House on Monday, Choi said that Korean businessmen were willing to invest in various sectors in the province. Later, during his visit to Karachi Water and Sewerage Board office, Choi also offered support in improving the overall sanitation and water supply systems of the metropolis. He said Korea not only understands the problems of water supply and sanitation, but is also willing to contribute its expertise in these fields.
