KARACHI: Abdus Subhan Memon, the former acting chief secretary, handed over charge to Raja Muhammad Abbas on Monday. Abbas is the 51st chief secretary. Abbas also served the province from 2000 to 2004 as the Karachi Fisheries Harbour Authority’s managing director. Before his latest appointment, Abbas was the federal secretary for the Ministry of Housing and Works.
